- Put a teaspoon of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Move the pan so the oil covers the entire bottom.

- When the oil foam subsides, add the flour to the pan.

- Once the bubbles rise, swap the pancakes and brown on the bottom.
- Alternatively, the pancakes can be placed in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Serve with fresh maple syrup.
